Facts first. Always.
A database is only as useful as the evidence behind it. Here is how GTALedger separates what we know from what we don’t.
Directly stated or explicitly named by Rockstar Games or Take-Two. Official imagery does not confirm unshown statistics.
Recorded in released gameplay with a reproducible method and a source.
Independently corroborated community measurements with their evidence retained.
A sourced community claim that has not yet been independently reproduced.
A claim awaiting sufficient evidence. Never used in authoritative rankings.
Unknown is a valid answer.
Unpublished numbers remain null in the database. An unknown price is not free. An unknown speed is not zero. Vehicle models inferred from a trailer are not official model names unless the source explicitly identifies them.
Sources travel with the data.
Every published record requires a source and a verification date. Rankings require verified gameplay data. Changes retain an updated timestamp. Demo records are excluded from public pages, search, and sitemaps.
